In-Person: Platform Instructions

You will be given a maximum of 20 minutes for each presentation, including time for questions. It is strongly recommended that you aim to present for 15 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions and for people to move among sessions. CEW session chairs are instructed to stick firmly to the time slots allotted so participants can take advantage of the various offerings at concurrent sessions.

Presenters will be required to save their PowerPoint presentations on the computer in their presenting room at least 20 min before their session begins. If your session begins in the morning, save your PowerPoint presentation the evening before your session begins.

NEW 2021 – This year we have introduced a new software platform called Pheedloop to support our hybrid model. Once the author’s abstract has been accepted, they will be invited to set up a speaker profile page on Pheedloop. The speaker portal allows each speaker to customize a web page that could include information their abstract, contact information, or other relevant presentation information. This web page will be available to all attendees to view during the conference. Setting up the web page is easy and built into the Pheedloop platform. Once an abstract is accepted more details and instructions will be provided to the authors on how to set up their speaker portals.
