In-Person: Poster Instructions

Two full-day poster sessions are planned (Monday and Tuesday). Posters will be on display for the entire day and presenters will be able to discuss their posters with workshop delegates during coffee breaks and at a daily late afternoon / early evening poster social. Authors have been assigned to a “Monday Poster Session” or a “Tuesday Poster Session” from 5 pm to 6:30 pm; authors should stand by their posters during the assigned times so that other workshop participants can discuss the presentation. Notwithstanding the author’s assigned time, all posters should be set up by 7 AM – 8 AM and taken down by 9 PM of the assigned presentation day.

Posters should be a maximum of 4 feet high by 8 feet wide. It is recommended that you bring business cards to hand out during poster sessions and/or paper-sized copies of your poster. Fabric poster panels and pins will be provided.  Each poster panel will be marked with the appropriate poster number as well as the title and lead authors, for easy identification; please put your poster up on the panel with the correct number assigned.

NEW 2021 – This year we have introduced a new software platform called Pheedloop to support our hybrid model. Pheedloop provides a new opportunity for a virtual Poster Showcase Room. As such, in addition to having an in-person poster board, in-person poster authors will also have an opportunity to set up a virtual poster on the Pheedloop platform once abstracts are accepted. The virtual posters allow each poster author to customize a web page that includes a PDF of their poster and abstract, and their contact information. This web page will be available to all attendees during the conference. Setting up the web page is easy and built into the Pheedloop platform. Once an abstract is accepted more details and instructions will be provided to the authors on how to set up their virtual posters.

Key Poster Guidelines

  • Posters should be a maximum of 4 by 8 feet wide.
  • Virtual posters uploaded to Pheedloop should be a one page PDF and cannot exceed 25MB each.
